Dash Arts creates artistic experiences that change the way we see the world. Founded in 2005 by Artistic Directors, Josephine Burton and Tim Supple, Dash Arts has rapidly emerged as a unique international creative force, producing new theatre, dance, music and art events in collaboration with exceptional artists from abroad.

Jim Fish

Jim Fish trained at the Oxford School of Drama. He has been working as a professional actor for the last 15 years. In that time he has worked with many different theatre companies taking him all over the world.

He is a British Sign Language user and works with two Deaf theatre companies on a regular basis.

He has worked with us on three projects. After the Tempest, Adventures in Wonderland and Laaasd.

Erin Hunter

Erin is from California and trained at LAMDA & UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film & TV. She played Stephano in Teatro Vivo’s After The Tempest. Other credits include two runs of Newsrevue, Bush Bazaar (Bush Theatre), The Price (Theatre Uncut), Articles: The Occupied Times (Arcola) and mockumentary The Potential Wives of Prince Harry. Erin is co-writing a 1940s screwball comedy web-series called A Quick Fortune and plays the ukulele.

The Story Museum

The Story Museum

The Story Museum exists to celebrate children’s stories and to share enjoyable ways for young people to learn through stories as they grow.

The museum has a permanent home in the heart of Oxford, UK, where it is currently being transformed into a new centre of children’s literature and storytelling.

We were invited to stage our Adventures in Wonderland throughout the building in July 2013.
It is the most magical place, full of brilliant people and inspiring thoughts.

Isa Suarez

Isa Suarez

Originally from the Basque region (Spain/France) Isa Suarez is a composer, a songwriter and a performer based in London. Her musical style is eclectic and suggests emotions and atmospheres. She composes music for film, theatre, dance and public art. Recent film credits include: Carpe Diem/Canada;  Shackleton’sWhisky/NationalGeographic/USA; Paths Through Utopias/France/UK; Ollie Kepler’s Expanding Purple World/U.K. Suarez has released various albums and compilations while composing music for film, theatre and dance worldwide such as Serio Ensemble, Random Dance, Teatro Vivo, Lila Dance Company, Germania de Teatro…

Inspired by her interest in human rights issues and community engagement, Suarez has created a number of artworks that have been exhibited at Tate Britain, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Barbican Arts Centre and South London Gallery. These projects have also led her to collaborate with other communities and artists in London, South Africa and Argentina including Amnesty International, Platform, Liberate Tate, Big Chill festival, Liberty festival, Cape 09 Art Biennale, Berlin Art Biennale, Etoy and Cooltan Arts.

As an ex-British Champion gymnast, Laura also works as a choreographer and movement director.
