Mother Courage

Greenwich & Lewisham Young People’s Theatre & Teatro Vivo present

A site specific promenade production exploring the business of war…

Mother Courage and Her Children

on The Royal Arsenal Site, Woolwich.

As we mark 100 years since the start of the First World War, join GLYPT & Teatro Vivo
for this moving adaptation of Brecht’s famous play.

Immerse yourself in this promenade piece which takes place around the historical Royal Arsenal site.

This relevant and important play highlights the key decisions Mother Courage is forced to make and the impact these decisions have on her children and her business. This will be a performance unlike any other. The audience will be cast as war refugees and will take a journey down the dramatic parades of the arsenal as they follow Courage’s cart. With live music and song, each scene will come to life against a backdrop of canons and the heritage of the Royal Arsenal.
