Productions Current Productions Artists Of Change: Lewisham Speaks As part of London Borough of Culture in Lewisham 2022, Teatro Vivo have been commissioned as 'Artists of Change'. From January 2022 we've been embedded with the Climate resilience team at Lewisham Council - learning about the work they do and exploring the way they make change happen. From March 2022 the Lewisham Usherettes have been heading out onto the the streets of Lewisham to talk with the public about what we've found out, and gather the thoughts and opinions of Lewisham residents about how we can use climate adaptation to make the borough the best it can possibly be. From April 2022 we've run workshops with 19 community groups (one for each ward in the borough) to explore all these ideas. All this work has inspired a 20 minute show called 'Lewisham Speaks' that will be performed on the streets of every ward in Lewisham between 21st June and 3rd July at the following locations: WARD SHOW LOCATION DATE TIMES Rushey Green Catford Broadway Tues 21st June 5.30 & 6.30pm Lee Green Outside Hither Green station Weds 22nd June 3 & 4pm Forest Hill Station forecourt Thurs 23rd June 4.30pm & 5.30pm New Cross Gate Carpark outside Sainsbury's Fri 24th June 1.30pm & 2.30pm Brockley Outside station - on Coulgate Street Fri 24th June 4.30pm & 5.30pm Telegraph Hill Outside the Telegraph Hill Centre Sat 25th June 11.30 & 12.30pm Crofton Park Dandy Park Revival Street Party - Courtrai Road Sat 25th June 2.30 & 3.30pm Bellingham Beckenham Place Park - In the Homestead Cafe courtyard Sun 26th June 11.30 & 12.30pm Perry Vale Mayow Park - near the cafe Sun 26th June 2.30 & 3.30pm Downham Leisure centre front entrance Tues 28th June 11.30 & 12.30pm Catford South Forster Memorial Park Tues 28th June 3.10 & 4.10pm Ladywell Hilly fields - near the stone circle Thurs 30th June 3 & 4pm Lewisham Central In front of the Shopping Centre (on the painted circle with the 'We Are Lewisham' signs' Thurs 30th June 6.30pm & 7.30pm Blackheath Bit opposite station by fish & chip shop Fri 1st July 4.30pm & 5.30pm Sydenham High Street (outside Ignition Brewery) Fri 1st July 7.30pm & 8.30pm Grove Park Ringway Centre Sat 2nd July 12.30 & 1.30pm Hither Green Goldsmiths Community Centre Sat 2nd July 4.30 & 5.30pm Evelyn Deptford Park Sun 3rd July 11.30 & 12.30pm Deptford Giffin Square Sun 3rd July 2.30 & 3.30pm People's Day Mountsfield Park Sat 16th July Various You can find the locations on this map: The show is completely FREE.
